Regional Cities Awards Structure

All Participants will receive a DanceMakers Medallion.

1st Place trophies will be awarded to one winning soloist:

All 8 regional/city winners of the “Mr./Miss Solo StarMaker” Competition
will be eligible to compete at National Finals.

The winners of the “Mr. & Miss National StarMaker” of the Year in Myrtle Beach Finals will receive a trophy and a one-year scholarship to attend all DanceMaker Conventions in 2008-09!

1st, 2nd and 3rd Place trophies are awarded in every age division,
category and subject.

Camp Dance Adventure (3 to 6 years)
Junior (7 to 10 years)
Teen (11 to 14 years)
Senior (15 and older)

All 1st place winners or the two top scores in each regional/city winners (with a minimum score of 80)
will be eligible to compete at National Finals.

NEW this year is the presentation of the Marjorie Perry Spirit Award presented to one
teacher at each Regional tour city who best exemplifies the love, dedication and
enthusiasm that Marjorie had for dance.

The winning teacher receives a title (in their particular winning city) and a trophy.

At National Finals, each winning teacher from all of the Regional city tours will be eligible to
win the National Title, Spirit Award Scholarship and Trophy for the entire 08-09 season!
